filter (optical)
1) оптический фильтр; светофильтр * Устройство направленно пропускающее электромагнитное излучение, служащее для изменения потока излучения или светового потока относительно спектрального распределения излучения, проходящего через это устройство, или того и другого одновременно. Примечание: различают селективные и неселективные или нейтральные светофильтры или нейтрально-серые фильтры в зависимости от того, изменяют они или нет относительное спектральное распределение проходящего через них света. Селективный светофильтр, который изменяет спектральный состав света, называют цветным фильтром, но если такой фильтр вследствие метамеризма пропускает свет, цветность которого близка к цветности падающего света, он называется серым светофильтром.
